For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Michelle Ghilotti and I’m a speaker, writer, what my book-writing coach calls a “modern entrepreneurial adventurist mom”, a serial expat and success coach who for 13 years has helped hundreds of women and moms design businesses that fit their authentic, soulful personalities as well as fit into their lives as well as gets them (and their genius!) noticed. (Before that, I spent eight years working with brands such as Nike and Starbucks in the ad business.)

Beyond my work with Michelle Ghilotti Int’l, a branding, coaching and empowerment agency, I also started the Walking Momtra community and radio show a few years ago, specifically, to help moms focus on their happiness so they can RAISE happiness. In fact, my book proposal on the subject is on its way to agents soon.

I mention my work with both MGI and Walking Momtra because I’m all in.

I’m all in, with purpose (if my photo below is any indication, all while having a really good, light-hearted time, of course) to help women and moms live more fearlessly in pursuit of authentic lives, doing what truly makes them happy, living not just 50% of who they are or what they desire but 150% of the life that is meant for them.

I love to live this vision or, better said, I live what I envision for the world each new day and create with that level of heart and soul. Through this work, I love showing women how to do the same; how to dance through life that free and empowered.

Though it wasn’t always this way, today I travel to beautiful places overseas to speak and work with clients, am featured on TV and magazines as well as online outlets like the Huffington Post on all areas I briefly touched on above ~ business, motherhood, branding, motivation/empowerment and personal development.

And all of this has been possible because of one thing. And it’s something you have inside of you, too:

The ability to say YES to yourself.

I’ve said yes for the entire life of this business. Thirteen years now.

In other words, I’ve continued to say yes to my dreams and the work involved to get there, even while…

• I was pregnant.
• I was nurturing myself back to life after a year+ of post-partum depression.
• I was adjusting to life back in the United States after four years away (and this time with a young baby in tow).
• I was attempting to understand a toddler and school-aged child with a rare sleep disorder.
• Moving countries two more times.
• Nurturing myself through debilitating arm injuries for three years (by the way, it’s really difficult being a mom and writer when you can’t use your arms).
• I didn’t know HOW.
• Journeying through grief.
• and, of course, and throughout all of life’s “smaller” and daily hurdles.

I, of course, gave myself the time and nurturing I needed in each instance (this yogi knows the value of stopping to smell the roses!), however, I never said “next year!”, “later…” or “…maybe when he’s older.”

I saw and went for what I knew was there and possible for me as, deep inside, I knew it would be good for all of us.

I mention this for one reason and one reason only ~ I kept looking for and reaching for the happiness and purpose I knew I’d had from a young age.

The business, my family and I have all grown in the best way, despite of, or better said, as a result of these “obstacles”. In many ways, they’ve simply show me how ready I am for the continued growth and even larger opportunities that lie ahead.

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

All of it has led to a fulfilling family life and business not only because I’ve continued even when it felt scary but because I’ve created from a place of truth, a place that feeds my soul, creativity and my authentic desires. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t felt feel like work at times but, just like motherhood, it’s the best work I’ve ever done. Because it’s what I’ve always known I’m capable of.

The life and business I’ve consciously created speaks beautifully to my modern-day gypsy ways and also allows me to be the spontaneous, devoted mom and partner I love and that my men love too. I couldn’t be more grateful for this YES life. Because in continuing to say YES to my dreams, I say YES to my family and their dreams, too.

Speaking of a dream, our wish let loose on the world, as my husband and I call him, is named Nolan (9) and he’s a bookworm. He calls me Mama and I’m happy to say that I never miss a field trip, school volunteer opportunity or being able to watch him practice soccer during the work week. He and I enjoy “Art Tuesdays”, “Museum Wednesdays” and “Happy Friday fun days” after we get home from school at 3:15pm. (He enjoys these days so much he has them written on an intention board near his bed.)

I'm also the proud wife of a hopeless romantic named Josh (infinite love and gratitude to his mama), and after 16 years together, we still write each other love notes and surprise one another with date night often.

And, as with our businesses, all my most important relationships, are that way because of a mindful and conscious choice to, as much as I can everyday, create what I want to be a part of.

As a result of being present and passionately in love with my family, I have purposefully created a business model, daily and weekly schedule that allows me the time to take care of the first domino in the domino effect ~ me. As the lynch pin in the whole operation (the business + family operation), I make sure to make this me time non-negotiable.

I do a daily strength workout, yoga, read my favorite books, make quiet time for tea and/or meditation every single day while Nolan is at school. My health and wellness is a must. Because if mama isn’t healthy of mind, body and soul, no one will really be healthy of mind, body, soul.

As moms/mums/mamas, if we are the fireplace everyone comes to for warmth, inspiration and creativity, we need to be fueled and fired up too…give from your overflow, mama, not from your lack.

As the How to Be a Walking Momtra book says, we could describe this as focusing on your happiness so you can RAISE happiness.

With this said, I also want to share that I call MGI and Walking Momtra both family businesses.

I’ve coined them “family businesses” for a few reasons, not the least of which is that they are both so integrated with my family life.

Throughout my communication of each, the sharing of my story, creation of my services, travel and daily goings-on of my, it's increasingly difficult to find where the me in life and the me in business begins and/or ends. And I love it this way. In fact, it's what makes it all work. To me, this is what having an authentic brand is all about.

I know you and I are in agreement with what I'm about to say next ~ our work lives must work while growing our beloved family.

Your Definition of Success: Since you’re interested in the mastermind, I think I have a good idea around your definition of success, but let’s discuss it and get you to put it down on paper in a unique way. You will be given questions to ask yourself to get clear on your definition of success.

The Why and What of Soul (The Introduction of Soul and Integrating Family and Business): I’ll give you a taste, “Soul is finding our who you are beneath all the stories, hurt and lies we tell ourselves.” What does SHE say she wants/believes/needs in her life? Core Desired Feelings and Your Brand of Mom Mogul: What two main feelings do you wish to bring into your family and what two do you wish to bring into your business. Soul Mom Mogul: Similar to what we started above, we can talk about goals, goals, goals until we’re blue in the face but if we’re not pulling in the soul truth behind each goal, it’s hard to have real power or the fuel to get there and get there happily! This month we will get clear on your soul family goals, soul money goals, soul relationship goals, soul time goals, soul travel goals, soul (brand) communication goals and soul creation/writing goals and what feeling has to do with each one. Each will have its own exercises so you feel clear and super connected as we move forward.

Greatest Business Vision and Greatest Family Life Vision (Your Movement in Business and Mission in Family): Through getting clear on your greatest business and life vision (those visions that live five to 20 years out), you can will reverse-engineer your success.

A Vision for the World: What do you envision for the world? We will gain clarity on this larger vision you have for the world and create statements to follow as we move forward in our six months together.

Plugging the Leaky Holes in Your Life: After identifying the leaky holes in your business, money, family, relationships and more (and then getting rid of what’s not serving you!), we will then clear space for what’s truly most important in your business and family life. The Clearing Space Exercise will help you in a huge way as will the instruction around establishing healthy boundaries around your business and family time. Action steps and how-to’s will be detailed. We will also discuss your Power of Five early on so we can begin to understand how important the five people we spend the most time with really is to our success and happiness.

New Year New You Ceremony for Business and Family: It’s exactly as it sounds. This is a powerful, visual and soulful way to state your intentions for 2015!

Your Big, Audacious Soul Goals for the Next Six Months: We are now ready to state and claim your intention for our six months together. Or, in other words, ready to claim your one big audacious goal in business and in family/life!

Your Purpose Leads to Your Movement: Your why is extremely important to gain clarity on. It is the heart and soul of your brand and business and also describes the movement you are leading in the world. This piece we get clear on now will also be one piece to establishing your brand…just you wait.

Family and Child Mission: We will walk through how to create both a family mission statement and a mission statement for your child too...we know that for you to feel most empowered, you want your family to feel it too!

Five Most Important “Buckets”: We will delve into the following most important categories or buckets you should be pouring into for greatest happiness and reward: Family/Spouse Time, Health/Mom Time, Business/Mogul Time, Brand-Building/Platform-Building Time and Money-Making Opportunities.

Three-Pointed Motherhood Mojo, Parenthood on Your Terms: Learn three soulful strategies (and mantras/momtras) that will support you in feeling the wisdom, comfort and confidence that you’re doing it “right.” Hint – it’s all inside. You are your only guru.

Mindset Moves & Success Habits: Feel the fear and do it anyway. We hear that a lot, don’t we? But how can we take that truth and apply it? In this month’s training and Action Kills Fear worksheet, you will usher in a whole new consciousness around that thing you call “fear” or “anxiety.” Among other things, we will review the law of attraction, your wealth consciousness and you’ll also hear what a Swami told Michelle once that she has taken to heart in building a successful business and family.

Your Signature Process: Once a coach, consultant, mentor of any kind gets clear on her signature process (what some call a signature system), everything (and I mean everything) becomes easier. From your signature process (the process you will take every client through, she can create all her programs, packages and services. It also serves as pinpointed inspiration for creating talks, blog posts and newsletters.

Business Model Design – How will you deliver this signature system? One-to-one or one-to-many? And, since business model ties back to what we do every day, answering the “simple” question “what do you actually want to be doing each day?” will help light the path where you will travel.

Signature Package, Pricing Power & Ideal Client Conversations: Here we will be shining a light on the 1-1 business model. We will take what your hourly currently is (possibly raise it) then work from there to create your brand’s signature package or signature high-end program (from there it’s much easier to come up with a few additional programs that all lead into each other, more to come on that). We will keep your soul money goal per month in mind (the ideal amount you want to make) and work out how many clients you need per month and just how it will all play out.

Become a Relationship Architect. Most six and seven-figure women entrepreneurs I’ve worked with state that their #1 success secret is solid relationships. Review & Plan to Keep It All Going: Let’s review where we are (give thanks for all that has grown!) and then make a plan of action to keep what you learned over the last many months go, go, going…! Though I may keep the Mom Mogul Success Society mastermind going another six months to round this out to a year-long mastermind, we will want to ground into what supported us most during this half year to get us to where we are now.
